so, we have been working on designing a museum for most of the semester in studio.  for the most part, i have been working digitally, however, after spring break i was finding it difficult to really advance my project in the computer.  in order to get a better handle on the spatial composition of my project i began building a physical model.  this model is built almost entirely by hand with some help from the lasercutter. it’s dowel rod structure (place holder) looks a bit shaky but all-in-all i think the model was very successful in helping me get a better idea of how my stucture handles circulation, accessibility, spatial variability, and temporality.
